CLIENT | Mott MacDonald & Eke Panuku
OUR ROLE | Regenerative Practice
Done. is part of the design collective Toi Waihanga appointed by Eke Panuku and mana whenua to bring to life Te Ara Tukutuku, the next stage in Wynyard Quarter’s transformation.
We are providing regenerative practice services as part of the Mott MacDonald team alongside our Toi Waihanga whanau. Working closely alongside Mana Whenua and Eke Panuku, Toi Waihanga brings substantial experience, vision, and global expertise to this important work.
Once known as Tank Farm, this land was previously used as a hazardous chemical storage facility, but the future of the space will be vastly different from its history. Over time, the 10-hectare site will feature mixed-use and sustainable development, with five of the 10 hectares transformed into one of the most beautiful parks in Tāmaki Makaurau, perched on the edge of Te Waitematā. Our city’s unique Māori identity will be woven into the fabric of the place, and it will attract visitors from throughout Tāmaki Makaurau, other parts of Aotearoa and around the world.
