Empowered Communities Working Group.
27.09.2023
Last week we had the privilege of joining an Empowered Communities Working Group activation. Our purpose was to continue learning about the identification of different plants in te taiao that support the ecosystems of Te Puhinui awa.
It was a real treat to see Charmaine Bailie and Natalie Couch of Uru Whakaaro in their element, and waananga alongside Eke Panuku, the Sustainable Business Network, Te Puanga Maara, and many others.
We committed to passing on what we learned to at least 10 people so if you’re interested in finding out more, please sing out!
